About me.
My name is Kerri. I am based in Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, which is the most easterly point of the British Isles and therefore has some of the most inspiring sunrises.
In the early mornings whilst out walking my dog along the beach I have been lucky enough to see the most amazing colours as the sun rises and this is what has inspired me to express my creativity through the art of photography, which I love.
I am totally self taught and I love to experiment with the camera to see the different effects that can be achieved using natural and artificial light. I truly believe the camera never lies and this is why you see my images as I have photographed them.
I was asked to display some of my landscape & seascape work at a local coffee shop/gallery and from this I was commissoned to do portrait photography. More of my work was exhibited at a public venue and this led to commissions for weddings, christenings & pet portraits.
Amongst my commissions was one for photographing little ones with their parents at a local childrens nursery.
As well as continuing with my portraits I am now exploring the amazing world of macro flower photography. This is a field of photographic creativness that portrays nature at its best and gives you the opportunity to see the intricate beauty and iridescant colours captured forever in the image.
